The Tithe Barn Petersfield Wedding Photography

“The Tithe Barn is a unique wedding and reception venue, set in the heart of the South Downs National Park. Imagine a stunning historic building in a glorious country setting, yours for exclusive use for the whole day.”

The Barn is set in 300 acres of farmland at Old Ditcham Farm, where Hampshire meets West Sussex. Couples getting married at The Tithe Barn have exclusive use of this gorgeous space for the whole day, including the delightful setting of the meadows for drinks and games in the summer.

The hamlet of Ditcham dates back to Saxon times. The lands were given to the Abbey of Durford by the Lord of the Manor of Harting in 1273. The Barn appears and disappears from maps over the centuries and the origin of the present building is shrouded in mystery. What is known is that the Barn was originally of cruciate form, and it has been returned to this condition. The Tithe Barn, now listed Grade II, has had many uses over the years. Now restored to its near original state, this impressive building is now available for civil wedding ceremonies and receptions, capturing an age gone by but with modern conveniences discreetly at hand.
