Best of 2019 Wedding Photography
It’s that time of year again when I have a few festive December weddings still to deliver, and I have a bit more time to look back at the year gone by, and look forward to the year ahead. I really did enjoy 2019. From a business point of view I, made an extra effort to take an interest in the plans my couples were making, and this really helped me to connect with my subject, and capture what I think are more personal images. My best pictures of 2019 below (or should that be my favourites) are not necessarily your typical “wedding moments” but I hope they capture some of the joy and excitement of weddings, and show why they are such an addictive thing to photograph. Nothing staged or posed, just real moments!
Among the new venues I enjoyed photographing this year were: Charterhouse School, Bury Court Barn, The Bombay Sapphire Distillery, Chiswick House and Coombe Abbey. Looking forward to 2020, and it’s shaping up to be one of my busiest years in a while. I’ll be doing a couple of personal projects that I’ve wanted to do for ages (watch this space!) as well as a bit of mentoring and traveling to some wonderful wedding venues in the UK and overseas! Edit: The eagle eyed among you will realise that last bit was written well before you-know-what kicked off, oh well!
