Best of 2018 Wedding Photography

It’s something of a cliché, but I really am so fortunate and grateful to be able to do this job for a living! Each year at this time, I look back with pride, but also begin to wonder, “How will I do it all again next year?” Truth is, it’s my couples that inspire me, and along with the investments I’ve made in my business this year, in terms of training and equipment (once a camera geek, always a camera geek!) I continue to see subtle ways in which my style of photography evolves over time. In particular, I’ve tried this year to commit to a shot for longer (what photographers generally describe as “shooting through the moment”) in order to capture those little in-between fractions of a second that seem to resonate so much more than the set piece moments in the day. See if you agree! I hope you enjoy my selection from 2018.

Among the beautiful venues I enjoyed photographing this year were: Farnham Castle, Northbrook Park, Gate Street Barn, Loseley Park, Great Fosters & Ramster Hall.
