May I introduce to you, my Stansted Park wedding photography! Stansted Park is a historic Edwardian country estate set in around 1,800 acres of landscaped parkland and ancient woodland on the Hampshire/West Sussex border near Rowlands Castle, within the South Downs National Park region. Its origins go back as far as the 11th century as a hunting lodge and park, evolving through successive grand houses and owners, and was rebuilt in 1903 after a fire; today it’s preserved by the Stansted Park Foundation for public benefit.
As an exclusive wedding venue, Stansted Park offers couples private use of the elegant house and grounds. Ceremonies can be held in the Music Room or the historic Chapel of St Paul onsite, and there’s generous space for a marquee on the lawns for large receptions. Guests might also enjoy glamping in the field overnight.

Ali and Barney’s wedding at Stansted Park was the perfect blend of elegance, emotion and fun, set against the timeless backdrop of this beautiful Hampshire estate. Both the bride and groom got ready on-site, allowing the morning to unfold calmly and naturally, with anticipation building just steps away from the chapel. From a Stanstead Park wedding photography perspective, it was a dream to capture those special moments before the celebrations began.
Their ceremony took place in the intimate chapel and was filled with tears and laughter in equal measure. Heartfelt vows and joyful reactions from family and friends made it deeply personal and unforgettable. After the confetti, Ali and Barney enjoyed a fun Land Rover ride through the grounds, giving them a few moments together while guests made their way to the reception.
Speeches were held outdoors. Outdoor weddings are a personal favourite of mine. The speeches were filled with warmth, humour and plenty of emotion, followed by golden hour portraits with the house as the backdrop (the perfect way to round off this portion of my Stanstead Park wedding photography.) As evening arrived, Ali changed outfits for the party, bringing a fresh energy to the celebration, and taking everyone by surprise! A fantastic live band kept the dance floor full all night, rounding off an incredible day that perfectly showcased why Stanstead Park wedding photography is so special.
