I’ve photographed some of my very favourite weddings of all time at Harper wedding venues, and if you’re visiting Cain Manor, Botleys Mansion or Notley Abbey to consider these wonderful venues for your big day, then be sure to ask to see my sample albums. But today I want to focus on one of my favourite weddings of last year, Sally & Jonny’s wonderful day at Cain Manor.

I’ve said it before, but it bears repeating, I love photographing the whole day, including the bride and groom getting ready. Sometimes that means travelling between venues, but at Harper venues, you can both get ready onsite. It adds to the story of the day, as I can photograph both of you, and be there when guests start to arrive for the ceremony. The whole day was so calm and full of joy. The couples’ ushers and bridesmaids helped the day run so smoothly, and friends and family had a great time, playing garden games, entertaining kids at the wedding, and hitting the dance floor once the band struck up in the evening.
