Tithe Barn Wedding Photographer Hampshire
As wedding venues go, the The Tithe Barn near Petersfield is quite something. It is perhaps one of the most awe-inspiring spaces I’ve come across, and I’m sure it would take your breath away the moment you step inside. The vast interior of the Barn really is like a blank canvas for you to stylise in your own way. I’m fortunate enough to have shot a number of weddings at the barn now, and every time I see it I’m intrigued by how each couple is able to put their own stamp onto this versatile space.
Before jetting off almost immediately after, for a once in a lifetime adventure/honeymoon, Paul and Steph married at the Tithe Barn. The weather can be quite dicey for an autumn wedding but we were so lucky have a gloriously crisp and sunny day, and even though this couple’s excitement and positivity was enough to brighten up even the most gloomy of days, the warm sun and glorious autumn colours put everyone in a good mood. Paul and Steph were perhaps one of the most easy going couples I’ve had the pleasure of photographing and the day really did feel like one big celebration from beginning to end.

The Tithe Barn is situated close to the South Downs on the boarder of Hampshire and West Sussex, in the small hamlet of Ditcham that dates back to Saxon times. The land was given to the Abbey of Durford by the Lord of the Manor of Harting in 1273. The origin of the Barn is shrouded in mystery but is now a Grade II listed building that has been restored to its near original stage.
