Jenny & Ashok’s Fusion Wedding

Hampton Court House is one of my very favourite wedding venues. It’s a magical place that feels like a fairytale, and yet the beautiful moments from every wedding I’ve photographed there are very real! Jenny and Ashok’s wedding was one of those days. I was struck by how much thought and creativity had gone into their day. One of Jenny’s bridesmaids sang beautifully during their ceremony, colours had been coordinated to great effect, and Jenny even made here own dress!

My style of documentary photography means that I love whenever couples mix things up and do the normal wedding traditions a little differently, and it just so happens that Hampton Court House seems to attract couples that want to imagine their special day a little differently. Jenny and her sister walked down the aisle together, and my photo of them together is one of my favourite shots from the day. Ashok’s brother was given the responsibility for the Zoom setup that meant that friends and family around the world could join in, and their guests had a lot of fun with the card games on each table doing the wedding breakfast.
